Holy shit have I been busy... pardon my french. Like I said in my last post I have had some things going on with life, and I really will go into some of those things a bit in the near future, but I am just now starting to get into a groove with life and school. However I of course have made some time to scope out some new products that I wish I could afford. So in the interest of not babbling on here is my wish list for the month of September.
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Maya Mia Palette
So I really went back and forth over the Amrezy palette but at the end of the day the colors were really just not me. I read/watched some reviews on it and just wasnt overly impressed with the swatches either so ultimately I decided that I didn't need or want it. Then came along the Maya Mia... and I was in love. Everything about this palette is kinda just perfection, the colors, the packaging, the price! I absolutely adore the packaging on this palette, it is very Courtney circa 2008-2011 aka The Highschool Years. The shades are super pretty also , I like that it is a majority neutrals (as if I need more of those) but the Aqua and Fresh Peach are very pretty and pair nicely with the natural shades. I think that there was a lot more thought put into the colors included in this palette when compared to the Amrezy. I am a little disappointed to hear rumors that this is not going to be available in stores and will only be available online at ULTA, Sephora, and ABH, however retailing only $29.00 makes it worth the hassle in my opinion.
2. Mally Evercolor Poreless Face Defender
This is kinda boring but I am super interested in the formula. So basically this is used for touch ups to help combat oil, the difference is this is not a powder it is a solid gel-like consistency. I don't have much to say because I have never even had the chance to play with the product but I am very interested in trying this. I am super stoked that this is going to be on sale later this month as part of ULTA's 21 days of beauty because the normal retail price is $40.00 which is way out of my price range for this type of product. So fingers crossed I can get my hands on one while it is on sale!
3. e.l.f. Studio Blending Brush
I totally just want this because I am a brush hoarder. I really enjoy the e.l.f. brushes so I really just want to see how this compares. Again, not much to say about this one.
It retails for $3.00 and currently I believe it is only sold on the e.l.f. website but it may make its way into stores in the future, but honestly if you order online you can get a better deal with the almost daily sales on the website.
4. e.l.f. Studio Hydrating Under Eye Primer
This is weird... which is kinda why I want to try it. I am not entirely sold on the idea of a separate primer for the under eyes but at $3.00 it is not something that is gonna break the bank if I hate the way it works. All I know is I have not been happy with my under eyes the past couple months, I am not old by any means but I just feel like my under eye area is only getting worse the older I get. So if this can even slightly improve that I am sold.
5. Hobby Lobby/the Paper Studio Black Spinning Tool Organizer
Let's address the issue of my brush hoarding. I do have an actual problem, so much that I really could use something like this to organize them. My issue is not to the point that I would fill this, but I could fill about half of it with brushes and the other half would be filled with eyeliners and lipliners. I am only slightly ashamed to admit that. These are sold at Hobby Lobby so while the normal price is a steep $39.99 you should never have to pay full price, either use a 40% off coupon or wait a few weeks and it will be half off.
