e.l.f. Haul

One of my favorite brands is e.l.f.  they offer some amazing products for great prices. They are sold nationwide at Target and locally at HEB, but I prefer to purchase larger orders online at eyeslipsface.com when they have good sales or coupon codes (which is all the time in case you didn't know.) So after christmas I had some money to spend and there was an awesome coupon for 50% off site wide and I took advantage of it and ordered some of the things I had my eye on for awhile. Many of the items I wanted were sold out already, that is just what comes with the good sale prices, but I did find a couple of holiday sets that I didn't know about to get instead.

My biggest item was the e.l.f. Studio Holiday Geo Palette Collection, and let me just say I for some reason did not expect to receive as much with this set as I did, so I might actually be selling a couple pieces.

For $20(original price) I got two of the Geo Palette Beauty Books which each contain 36 eyeshadows, one of the Beauty Books has mostly neutral browns while the other contains some neutrals, blues, greens, purples and smokey grays.

The set also includes two 32 price eyeshadow palettes, one containing more neutrals and the other with a nice mix of neutrals, purples, and greens.

Lastly the set includes an 18 piece palette with neutral and smokey shades , and a 6 piece palette that has beautiful smokey shades. Overall this set is an amazing price, however I am only going to keep a couple of the pieces since I don’t need 4 more palettes with nothing but neutral browns, but the ones I don’t really want/need will make great gifts.

The other set large set that I ordered was the Collections 56 Piece Makeup Artist Collection also for $20 (originally) this set included the new Makeup Artist Palette, which is the whole reason I wanted this. The palette is sold separately for $15 but I figured for $5 more I could get a couple other things that I wanted to try and a few that I already love. The palette has a gorgeous array of blushes and bronzers on a removable tray, underneath is another tray of some gorgeous eyeshadows, I really love that you can move the trays around in the palette, which also includes a large mirror on the top flap. Also included in the set is an eye primer, black liquid eyeliner, black pencil liner(with a sharpener cap), Lengthening & Defining mascara, a blush brush, and an eyeshadow brush. I totally just wanted the palette for the blushes but got some other really nice products with them.

The last holiday set that I got was the e.l.f. Essential Holiday 3 Piece Eyeliner Set which is originally $3 and includes a liquid pen liner, shimmer pencil liner, and regular pencil liner all in black. I go through a ton of black eyeliner and I really love their liquid pen liners and I was interested in trying their shimmer eye liner so the regular liner was just a bonus.
I ordered a couple mascaras in addition to the one that came with one of the sets mentioned above. The first one was another Lengthening & Defining Mascara for my mom, this mascara is normally $1, and while it is a very small size(both tube and brush), for a $1 if it works well that is a steal.

Another that I ordered was the Essential Volumizing Mascara, this one is normally $2 and comes in a much larger tube and has a rather large brush in comparison to the Lengthening & Defining.

Finally I got the Studio 3-in-1 Mascara, which has a very interesting brush that reminds me of the Benefit They're Real Mascara, and it is normally $3. I have not tried any of these yet since I have a couple mascaras that I am trying to finish up before opening anymore, so I cannot comment on them yet.

I am a big fan of e.l.f. lip products, especially those from the Studio and Mineralized lines, fairly recently they have launched the Studio Moisturizing Lipsticks and I have been rather eager to try them, unfortunately most of the colors I was interested in trying were sold out but I did get one in the shade Velvet Rope which is a very pretty tomato orange-red color. These are $3 each.

The last items I purchased were two shades of the e.l.f. Studio Maximum Coverage Concealer, I ordered Porcelain (the lightest shade) and Sand (one shade darker.) I never quite know which color I will need and since I tend to get darker in the summer I can usually use both of the shades I order at some point. These are $3 each.

The last item that I got was actually free because I referred a couple friends by email after submitting my order (more on this in a minute) it was a Brightening Eyeshadow quad in Drama, which is has some very nice dark gray and black shades. These are usually $1 each and come in a large color range.
So I made out pretty nicely, even at full price these are all a steal, but to make the deal even better I only paid $39 for my entire order. I used a coupon code that gave me 50% off the entire site and when you spend over $35 you get free shipping. Finally after submitting my order a little form pops up on the side of the page that asks me to refer a couple friends by email and if you complete this you will get a free product, which is usually a small item from the $1 Essential line. If you have never tried the line before or even if you have I highly suggest that you check out the website, they have a huge line of products that are not offered at the retail locations, and even better you can often get some amazing deals if you catch a good sale.
I will be doing individual reviews on these products as I start using them and getting to see how I like them so keep an eye out for those posts soon.
