It is that time again! More crap I want but can't afford to buy myself... it really blows being a broke college student. Can I just win the lottery already, or maybe one of those Publishers Clearinghouse giveaways my grandfather is always having me enter?!? Anyways on to the products....
1. Peter Thomas Roth Skinstant Mask Magic
Because there is so much in this set and Sephora sums it up nicely here are the descriptions of the kit straight from our favorite makeup retailer:
Thank you Sephora content writers for your help. Let me break down the cost of this set which is $45 for the trio. The Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask in a full size (5 oz) retails for $45, the Cucumber Gel Mask in a full size (5 oz) also retails for $45 and the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask is a full size and retails on the PTR (not available on Sephora.com) for $42. So....
1.7 oz Cucumber Gel Mask...$15.30
1.7 Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask...$15.30
1.7 Pumpkin Enzyme Mask...$42.00
Total Worth...$72.60
Cost...$45.00
Savings...$27.60
Not a bad deal if you ask me, and who doesnt love to pamper their skin and throw on a mask, drink some wine and watch some shitty Netflix every now and then ?
2.NEST Amazon Lily Fragrance
Let me just tell you all how pissed I am that I did not get the NEST Fragrance Coffret while it was still available on Sephora.com. I never got it around last Christmas when I first saw it because even though I thought the packaging was stunning and the fragrance descriptions were right up my alley I watched and read many reviews saying that most of the fragrances were not the best scents and were far from their descriptions ... and at $46 I just didn't want to risk it (I hate returning used products, I feel like everyone is judging me.) Fast forward to my recent Sephora.com order (I NEEDED that Radiant Orchid set) one of my options for my three samples was this fragrance. I was almost more excited for the sample than the products I actually paid for... and it did not disappoint. So much that I am still trying to savor my tiny little sample because lord knows I cannot afford a full size(1.7 oz $65.00), or even a roller ball($25) for that matter (why the hell are rollerballs so damn expensive?) This scent is described as Amazon lilies combined with lime, tangerine, driftwood, and musk. If you know me then you know I really like citrusy scents so this so needs to be in my collection(especially now that I am out of like all my beloved CK One Summer fragrances.) I am scared to smell the rest of the scents because I really might love them all.
3. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette
If you do not know about the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, crawl out from under that rock have been living in and go to Sephora ASAP. I am super in love with the idea of these, and really want to try them out myself, and what better way than with an array of three different shades ? Being totally honest even if I hated the product I really love the Hourglass packaging it is all so simple yet elegant. Fancy! At $58 for this bad boy it is not looking like I will own it anytime soon.
4. e.l.f. Mineral Pearls
I dont typically like these pearl products because I feel like I always have to crush them to get any decent amount of product on my brush, but I am always intrigued by them (because I am five years old.) I actually really would like to try both the Natural colored pearls and the Skin Balancing version pictured above. At $8 they are cheap in comparison to other brands (I'm side eyeing you real hard right now Guerlain) but kinda pricey for our much loved e.l.f. brand, so this won't be in my future unless they have another half off sale while I have some funds available. Side note on the website it says these are limited edition, so I am guessing that they won't be around for very long, yet another reason I am putting it off. What if I fall in love and then it goes away forever!
5. Maybelline The Smokes and The Brights Palettes
The Smokes has been seen popping up at Walgreens (none of mine have had it, and everyone at my local Wags is probably tired of seeing me between the e.l.f Disney Princess collections and these I have been visiting at lease 1-2 times a week this summer) so I am sure it will be available all over in the next month or so but no word on The Brights palettes. I have been in love with The Nudes ever since I got my hands on it, while some of the shades are better than others overall for the price it really is a great everyday palette! I have heard even better things about The Smokes palette so it is pretty much gonna be mine as soon as I can find it. I am going to assume these will retail for $9.99-$12 like The Nudes has, but being sold at Walgreens and CVS I will get it cheaper with reward points and coupons so it is one of my WL items that is actually a possible new addition in the coming weeks, but if someone else wants to send it my way I would not turn it down!
